Welcome to Develop 52
A self-development series I did in High School providing daily disciplines and habits anyone can add to grow into who they were created to be.
Every night before you go to sleep you are going to set ONE alarm on your phone with NO SNOOZE!! Then you will put it on the opposite side of the room that you are in, so you literally have to walk to turn it off.
Back again for week 2! This is something that so many people already do every day, but many do not. This development is probably the number one important because without water, anybody or anything on the earth would not be alive.
Every night you're going to prepare everything that you need the next day (for work/school/whatever else you do). Examples could be: - Putting your backpack by the door - Putting your keys on the counter/key rack - Laying out clothes to wear the next day - Laying your journal out on your desk to read in the morning The list goes on and on.
Who doesn't enjoy and get hype to their favorite songs? EVERY morning you are going to play YOUR type of music, but make sure it lifts you up, and doesn't make you feel bad or down.
Something not a lot of us love to do unfortunately. If you look at any success story, someone prosperous and thriving in their life, it's because they discipline themselves, and a large part of that is waking up early. This week is going to be working on that!
Whether you believe in God or not, or you consider yourself spiritual or not, you need to be praying!! In my life, my alone prayer times are the greatest times of my life 100% without a doubt. We worked our way to wake up 15 minutes early for week 5 in order to start praying for 5 minutes!
Something Mommy is going to be very very impressed and grateful for 😏 But the purpose is not for Mom to like you more, but for you to kickstart your day with the very first thing you do being productive!!
A vision is a statement that you live your life by every single day. It is a sentence that is unique to who you are as an individual and work towards every single day. The most successful and most influential people all of vision statements for their own personal brands as people because they realize the importance of not only having one, but living it out!
This week is an example of something extremely small that builds and adds up to something of great number and value over time!! I learned this from @quenten.chad and it has helped me out a lot! Basically what you will do is write down (much preferably in a journal-type notebook) three things that you are grateful for that day.
This week is something that is so small, but something that can literally change someone's life. What to do is send a message to a different friend every day telling them that you are grateful for them and anything else that will lift them up.

This is perhaps one of the biggest lifestyle changes SO MANY people try to apply to their life because we all want the end result of looking amazing and physically being as healthy as possible. BUT... the journey is painful as you know.
The implementation this week is something that honestly a lot of us take for granted, and that is spending true quality time with our families! I'm not talking about watching a movie with them, or even being in the same room with them- I'm talking about having deep conversations, playing board games, laughing with each other and creating memories!!
Every day the goal is to have 5 things that you focus on and MUST get done! They can be small like 'eat lunch' or big things like 'finish this book'. . As long as you have accomplished your 5 focuses of the day, the day is a success!!!
Being mindful is something that has maximum health benefits, especially mentally! Basically, in order to practice mindfulness, you become fully aware and think deeper about things, typically that you already normally do, resulting in a greater perspective of life. .
The Bible says, 'without a vision, the people perish.' It's cool to have a vision, but what are the practical steps to fulfill that vision? Week 18 goes more in depth on how to reach a vision for your life (week 8) by setting goals!! .
DEVELOPMENT #19 - E-Reminders .. Are you human? Okay, cool!! This development is for you then :) .. We all forget things. We all have unproductive days. We all get worn out. We often become demotivated. But what is a small way to help 'fix' these things?
This edition of Develop 52 starts to get into the mindset and mentality of things. BCD stands for Blame x Complain x Defend. -- It's very important to eliminate all of these as best you can. This week, start to become more aware of how much you complain.
Ever feeling tired during the day? Try out this development if you are able to, and see how much it can impact your life!!! -- 10/10 recommend 15 min powernaps ;) Energy boost and restoration which leads to higher productivity!! - You ever taken one before?? -------------------------------------------------------------- My camera!!

Just to be 4000% transparent, I am NOT the best at cleaning consistently 😭 but that's what this weeks addition is :) -- If you are the cleaning wiz could you get any more organized? I know scheduling helps alot, so find what fits best for who you are!
Already discussed GOALS in week 18, but this is a little bit different, and honestly much easier haha -- I have just started doing it, and already seen CRAZY results!!! Whether it is every day, week, month, etc. write down your thoughts and feelings, but especially your BIG IDEAS!!! Make sure it is a safe place whether phone or paper (I recommend Evernote), and have fun with it! ---- Have times where you go back and read your past entries too!!

I hear it preached all the time: GRATITUDE, GRATITUDE, GRATITUDE!! It's a great thing when we live a life full of being grateful and thankful, but expressing that gratefulness to those who mean the world to us is a key part of life.
I LOOOVEEEE THIS SO MUCH!!! First off because I love people, but there's a great excitement every time I have an intense/sincere/meaningful convo with someone. Try it out... Grab some coffee with your friend Call them on the phone DM someone!!! -- The possibilities are endless!!!
Throughout Develop 52, we have gone over many many ways to get, feel, live better, BUT this could be the most important one! - We've talked about exercising, a little bit about food, and now we are getting into the topic of sleep.
Wanna be more productive? Want to start to take control of your life? This is one of the very first things that will get you started in that direction!!! BUT This may not work for you if you aren't a list person. Try it out and see if it will help!!
A phone call can literally change someone's ENTIRE DAY!!! If you don't call any friends regularly, it is a great way to allow yourself to become more productive and aware. We oftentimes get inside our own little world, and something as simple as talking to someone we may not see everyday can open our perspective.
I just added this sucker into my nightly routine last week, and the times I HAVE done it have helped me SO MUCH 😭😭 -- Try this out and see if it helps you at all. I've never heard of doing it from anyone, so I hope it does bring some peace and joy into the lives of those who do it!!!
Nearly every successful person you can think of does this. This will help you not only improve yourself, but to get to the next level in life. Find what fits you best and be sure to be consistent, and develop the MOST LIT MORNING ROUTINE EVERRRR!!!!
Never heard of this? Yeah, me neither lol. I'm excited to try this out, and be SURE that EVERYDAY THAT I LIVE is a day that I enjoy!! -- I hope you do the same because the life that we are living in 2018 is truly remarkable!!
My close friends & family know this about me and to be honest I STRUGGLE with finding time to rest. A lot of the times it seems counterproductive, and a waste of time, but every time I have rested, I have been able to accomplish so much more than if I didn't.
Mentality and our mental state will drive most of the actions and patterns in our life. Developing this concept and way of living is one of the most crucial parts of becoming consistent and focused. -- Lets work everyday to have this state of mind! LETS GOOO!!!!
